Boardmasters is a surf and music festival held in Cornwall, combining beach lifestyle with top-tier musical programming. Music events take place on a clifftop site in Watergate Bay, while the surf competitions are held at Fistral Beach in Newquay.
The music spans indie, pop, electronic, and dance, with past lineups featuring acts like Florence + The Machine, Foals, and Disclosure. Stages include the Main Stage, Land of Saints, Unleashed, and The View.
Surfing, BMX, and skateboarding competitions attract athletes and fans during the day, while beachside markets, food trucks, yoga, and art installations round out the offering. Wellness sessions, eco-initiatives, and ocean conservation workshops are part of the festival’s ethos.
Camping is available near the main site, with shuttle services connecting locations. Boardmasters offers a unique fusion of beach culture and live music that appeals to fans of both outdoor sports and vibrant music experiences.
