Overview
Creamfields is the UK’s flagship electronic dance music festival, held annually in Daresbury, Cheshire. It hosts the biggest global names in house, techno, trance, drum & bass, and EDM across over 30 stages. Massive production values include LED screens, lasers, pyrotechnics, and immersive stage setups.
Headline stages like the Arc, Steel Yard, and Horizon are complemented by branded arenas from top labels and promoters. Acts include world-renowned DJs, underground pioneers, and live electronic performers.
Camping is available with general admission, gold, and Dreamfields glamping options. The site is equipped with food courts, secure lockers, showers, and 24/7 welfare services. VIP packages offer access to exclusive viewing areas and luxury facilities.
Creamfields attracts a dedicated crowd of electronic music lovers. Its four-day schedule, non-stop beats, and high energy create an unforgettable rave environment. It is easily accessible by train or coach, with shuttle buses from Warrington and Liverpool.
How to get there
Train
From London: Take an Avanti West Coast train from London Euston to Warrington Bank Quay. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 43 minutes.
From Manchester: Take a TransPennine Express train from Manchester Piccadilly to Warrington Bank Quay. The journey takes about 27 minutes.
From Liverpool: Take a Transport for Wales train from Liverpool Lime Street to Runcorn. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
From these stations, shuttle buses are available to the festival site. Tickets for shuttle buses can be purchased on-site at the Creamfields shuttle bus box office located near the North Entrance.
Coach
Big Green Coach: Offers official coach travel from various UK cities, including London, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, and Glasgow. Coaches depart on Thursday, August 21, and return on Monday, August 25.
National Express: Provides coach services from cities like London (Golders Green), Cardiff, Birmingham, and Leeds to the festival site. Booking in advance is recommended.
Car
From London: Drive via the M6 motorway, taking approximately 3 hours 40 minutes.
From Manchester: Drive via the M56 motorway, taking about 40 minutes.
From Liverpool: Drive via the M56 motorway, taking around 30 minutes.
Please note that there will be road closures around the festival site. It's recommended to follow the dedicated festival signs rather than relying solely on GPS.
Air
From London: Fly from London Heathrow or London City Airport to Manchester Airport, which is approximately 25 minutes by car from the festival site.
From Liverpool: Fly from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Manchester Airport, then take a train or coach to the festival site.
Local Transport
Shuttle Buses: From Runcorn and Widnes, shuttle buses operate to the festival site. Tickets can be purchased on-site at the shuttle bus box office near the North Entrance.
Bus Services: Local bus services, such as the X30, 62A, and 200, serve the area around the festival site.
