The stop is roughly 800 m (10 min walk) from the park entrance
Pro tip: After large events, Heaton Park stop may temporarily close. If so, use Bowker Vale tram stop, about a 10 minute walk to the main entrance .

Several buses stop right near the park, including the 59, 135, 164, 90, x35, 156, 149, and 484
Route 59 runs from Piccadilly Gardens to Middleton Road, stopping directly outside Middleton Road entrance—an 8 min walk into the park
Route 135 goes from Piccadilly Gardens via Victoria to Bury, passing by Heaton Park
